Gypsum plaster procedure is economical and comparatively easy, in addition, also creates a good environment. If you want to use gypsum plaster for your interior decoration, then you have to be sure that the surface itself is smooth, dry and has an absorbent surface. So when you have mixed your plaster according to what was recommended, then you can begin the application on the wall. If you have coated a wide area of the surface, don’t drag them originally smooth with a flat iron. If the plaster was smeared smoothly, you can switch through the use of a spirit level again. But if the plaster is dried, you can rubit with anexfoliator float, so you get a constant texture.
When you process the gypsum plaster, you have to do it quickly and ensure that the surfaces are not made at a step.
Types of Gypsum Plaster
Bonding Plaster: This is a primer plaster, which means it is the first undercoat or coat that is applied to a wall that needed to be reinforced. When it is thrown to the wall, it is smashed with a pin to produce a “key” aimed at the upper coat. This type of plaster has an ability of sticking and doesn’t depend on any permeable exterior to bond. Bonding plasters can be administered to really impenetrable concrete blocks or engineering bricks. The surface is the place that you would use this type of plaster as a scratch coat.
Browning Plaster: This is also a base coat plaster used for surfaces that has more porous nature. It works better on exteriors with a motorized key and often you will see bricklayers gathering the joints of block and brick walls which will have this type of gypsum plaster covering.
Hardwall Plaster: Hardwall plasteron the other hand is similar to the Browning plaster but the difference is that it gives a more high effect resistance and faster drying apparent. It is among the widely used undercoat plaster presently and can be used on most brickwork surfaces.
