Unflued Gas Heaters: –
- Convection heaters- These heaters depend upon the environmental factor of the functioning of the hot air, but it has artificial means like a fan that can accelerate the velocity of the same. It functions electronically. It is usually controlled with a remote control. A thermostat inside it, it is often found on models that aren’t electronically controlled. Electronically controlled models rely on the stand by power in order to function.
- Radiant Convection- These models are dependable on convection energy units, and generally, its set-up comprise of an area that is exposed is responsible for radiating heat inside the room. They are cheaply available and they don’t have any thermostat, remote control, timer, etc. along with it. It has manually operated ignition button and can be held for twenty seconds.
The capacity of the gas heater to heat is approximately as equivalent to a room size measurement. In addition, the heater depends on various factors such as room size and local climate responsible for heating up your room. However, keeping in consideration, an unflued gas heater should not be installed in the room that is smaller in size, as they produce heavy emissions.
