When you are getting ready to paint the inside of your home or business be sure to take into account the mood that particular paint color conveys to us subconsciously. When we visualize a certain color without even knowing it our subconscious associates that particular color to a certain mood or feeling.
We each have different experiences in our lives that can shape what feelings and moods we associate with a specific color based on our unique life experiences. For instance, if a particular color has repeatedly given you a sense of calm and relaxation there is a good chance whenever you see that color subconsciously you feel calm and relaxed. Certain colors are regularly associated with a particular mood as a general rule. Before you start any interior painting project of your home or business be sure to keep these general guidelines in mind.

The color blue is often associated with a calm relaxing mood. To get the full effect of the calming nature of blue use a light-colored blue paint. Be careful using dark blue because this could have the opposite effect and cause sadness instead of the intended calmness.
