A core drill is a tool that is used to make holes in the surface and is mainly used for the purpose of construction.it is generally hollow and cylindrical and uses a twist motion to penetrate into the ground and create a depression or cavity in the surface. The machine may be used to cut through cement, ice, rocks or even wood. The core drill generally leaves behind a sample of the area that it is drilling, and that sample can be used to inspect the land which is mainly used for the purpose of mining. The area is dug into and the samples are tested for their mineral percentages and other important factors and this decides if mineral exploration should be continued in the area or if it should be abandoned.
