We have heard a lot about being a 90s kid. Clinton was still in the Oval, Cartoon Network was the best channel around, and the only kind of crocus people knew about was the ones Steve Irwin caught. It was a lovely time to grow up for the kids, a crazy time for fashion and a quirky time for interior decor. We are thankful that most of the fashion trends are now lost forever and more grateful that there was no Facebook or Instagram to record our outrageous perms and overall trends permanently. However, we are thankful some of the drifts still survived.
Painting on the walls
Call it the Bob Ross influence or the effect of unleashed creativity. We loved hand-painted walls. It could be something as simple as motifs in neon shades or a recreation of the sunset by the lake by one talented member of the family.
