Minimalism is not only a way of life, but it is also a design style with very similar concept to the original meaning. “Minimal” at the core means stripping down to the bare necessities – the lesser the better. Minimalistic design is where we get rid of unnecessary decor or other elements that are deemed ‘extra’.
Because it holds true to simplicity, there are many firm believers of the principle and there are many that favor this style of design, especially for their homes. Often it has the simplest wall treatment, simplest shapes, and so it all comes down to light and dark – which in many cases, minimal houses often open themselves up to allow in as much natural light as possible.
